Individual Therapy

You are about to take the first step in hope, healing and growth!

As your therapist, my goal is to help you reach your therapeutic goals by actively working with you to make desired changes; heal from emotional distress and trauma; and grow by building new skills and self-awareness. My counseling approach is collaborative, relational, and strength-based set in warm and empathetic environment. In order to make long-lasting changes and achieve true healing, we need to get to the core of the issues. Therefore, I use a mix of traditional and non-traditional therapeutic modalities including Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), EMDR Intensive Therapy, Mindfulness Techniques, Mind-Body/Somatic Techniques and of course traditional talk therapy – based on your individual needs and goals.

I provide individual therapy to adults who have experienced depression and anxiety disorders; anger issues; phobias; blended family and relationship issues; divorce; and everyday life stressors and adjustments.

Specialization

I have advanced clinical training to work with those who have witnessed and/or experienced trauma such as sexual abuse, incest, physical and emotional abuse, domestic violence, childhood trauma, attachment trauma, and other traumatic events resulting in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
