Video Therapy

Are you feeling overwhelmed, depressed, or need a life coach but find it difficult to make time for traditional therapy? Now you can have therapy anytime, anywhere. I am excited to announce that I now offer video therapy for teens and adults located in the State of Kansas.  It’s professional, affordable and confidential.

What is video therapy?

Video therapy is a mode of therapy utilizing  Zoom platform to conduct therapy in the comfort of your own home, office or anywhere you have an internet connection from your desktop, laptop, notepad, or smartphone.

Benefits of video therapy

  • Affordable: It’s more affordable than in-person therapy, which can range from $100 to $250 per session.
  • Flexible:  Evening and weekend appointments are available for your busy schedule.
  • Private: You do not have to worry about running into someone you know in the waiting room.
  • Effective: You still receive the same professional services from a licensed therapist.
  • Convenient: Eliminates travel time since you can attend sessions from your home, office or when you are on the road.
  • Easy to Use: Your session is accessible anywhere; your desktop, tablet or smartphone.
  • It’s Safe: Feel secure knowing that your sessions are private and conducted on a HIPAA approved video platform.

Video therapy may not be appropriate if

  • If you have experienced suicidal ideation within the last two months.
  • If you were discharged with inpatient status of a behavioral health hospital within the last six months.
  • If you are in the mist of an emergency requiring immediate attention (instead call 911).

Types of payment accepted for video therapy

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield or Medicare
  • Health Service Account (HSA)
  • Flexspending Accounts
